A Fresh Start City & Guilds 7113.

On Saturday 26th September I start my new City & Guilds Course at Craven College, Skipton, North Yorkshire, UK.
I have already completed my Certificate in Patchwork & Quilting 7922 - 03 and now I am about to embark on the new Certificate 7113, Creative Techniques. I will fill in the details of the units I will be studying later.
I have decided to make a fresh start here on this blog with the new course and hope to post my progress on a regular basis.

We have been asked to choose a personal theme and I have selected 1950s/60s pottery of which I have a collection. I love the patterns, particularly the more abstract ones.
So here are a couple of photos to get us started

These are both designs by J & G Meakin.
One of the areas I hope to concentrate on this year is artwork so today I visited Colourcraft in Sheffield to top up my supplies.

All my general quilty stuff will still continue on my other blog!
